Balkenende op bezoek in de VS

Premier Balkenende bezoekt dinsdag, samen met minister Verhagen van Buitenlandse Zaken, de Amerikaanse president Barack Obama. Tijd voor een gezamenlijk feest: de band tussen de VS en Nederland bestaat 400 jaar. Echter, de discussie over de zogenoemde Hague Invasion Act dreigt deze feestvreugde wellicht te verstoren.
Verhagen wil de Hague Invasion Act van tafel. De minister: "Amerikaanse wetgeving die gebruik van geweld tegen Nederland zou kunnen rechtvaardigen ... is uit de tijd."
De Hague Invasion Act, die in 2002 werd aangenomen, staat elke actie toe om Amerikaanse militairen en 'ander personeel' te bevrijden die zijn uitgeleverd aan het Internationale Strafhof in Den Haag. In Netwerk een gesprek met Amerika-expert Willem Post, verbonden aan het Instituut Clingendael. Post over de Amerikaanse wet: "Dit is een regelrechte schande."

What does Verhagen say? ...UIT DE TIJD?...Well if you ask me it is out of the brain...it is a genuine disrespect and violation of International order and International Laws. But do the "Big Powers" ever care for International Laws? Nope, they may refer to them only when it serves their case.
And in the same time The Netherlands unilaterally blocks Serbia from the EU integrations, because of by Dutch, so called, Serbian not complete cooperation with Tribunal. Must say Country with "strong" principles. Allowing USA even to treth your own territory if the Tribunal is processing American citizens, but sanctioning and blocking Serbia for, so called, not full cooperation? Ever taught of sanctioning USA? Nope surely not...Should we call Dutch diplomatic act as a genuine hypocrisy? Yes, we should!
Hague Tribunal was and is meant to be the instrument of western powers, read USA, and meant to picture the "International Justice" which suites Westerners fancy and as such is nothing more then discredited political Tribunal, for very much great majority of non–western World democracies...and following all above mentioned the Dutch and Dutch Government are just obeyable executors of American "bully boy" tactics.
Shut it down dear Dutch and spare yourself of international embarrassment and even worse possible “friendly” USA invasion.

13 juli, 2009 - 23:27The News of the year 2009 (no-matter what comes still and next) : by USA Senate, back in past, approved “The Hague Invasion Act” !!!
Not only that Bush, so called, Government unilaterally invaded, bombed and vandalised Serbia ( and the number of another Countries) without approval by UN Resolution, but they even passed the Act of invading one of theirs most faithful allies, namely The Netherlands, and all of that with the knowledge of Dutch Government. Well dear Dutch Government : your moral integrity is equal to NIHIL. Dismiss your Ministry of Foreign Affairs and never involve yourself in foreign policy again. This is genuine disgrace for one Country!
